Churches
The center of most communities is the church. Fairmont Community Church is indeed the spiritual center of Fairmont. The church is the result of a merger of the United Methodist and the Federated Churches of Fairmont, now affiliated with the Methodist Church. Worship services are held each Sunday morning. Sunday School classes are held for all ages, September through May. The church has an outstanding choir for all ages. The United Methodist Women's Society meets monthly and supports the church with many volunteer hours.  Check out the Happenings page to see monthly activities.
