Railroads - Fairmont is served by a main line of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad with
Air - The Fairmont Airport has a 4,400 foot lighted runway
with hangars and tie downs available. Other facilities include a lounge,
courtesy car and aviation fuel. Commercial air service is provided at the Lincoln
Municipal Airport,
Electricity - The city of Fairmont is a full requirements wholesale customer of Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD). Fairmont is served at
