Zoning Reminder:
No building or structure or part of a building or structure shall be erected, constructed, reconstructed, replaced, moved or structurally altered without first obtaining a zoning permit.
This permit may be obtained from the Fillmore County Zoning web site: www.fillmorecounty.org/webpages/zoning/forms.htm or from the village clerk. For additional information, please contact Geraldine Daniels, Fillmore County Zoning Administrator at 402-759-4982 or 402-759-3943.
SNOW REMOVAL:
Winter weather will be here soon. Just a reminder about the village code pertaining to snow removal from sidewalks - Village Codes states sidewalks within the business district shall be cleaned within five hours after the end of a storm, unless the storm or fall of snow takes place during the night, in which case the sidewalk shall be cleaned before 8:30 the following morning. Sidewalks within the residential areas of the municipality shall be cleaned within 24 hours after the end of the storm. Thank you for your cooperation with snow removal.
POP Tabs for Ronald McDonald House
GFWC Fairmont Woman’s Club is again collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in Omaha. You can drop off your pop tabs at the Fairmont Public Library or call Nancy Galaway at 268-4481.
This is an on going project so keep saving those tabs.
